Melissa “Erin” Griffin, DO, is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She trained in osteopathic medicine at the Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky and her residency was at Coastal Family Medicine of New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, NC.
Dr. Griffin has been practicing since 2009, practicing for the past 6 years in Jacksonville, NC, at Onslow Primary Care and Vidant Family Medicine and most recently in Wilmington, NC at Pelican Family Medicine. Erin specializes in primary care and integrative medicine, offering weight loss counseling and management, bioidentical hormone replacement, a variety of genetic testing services, dermatologic procedures and women’s health services. Her interests include inflammatory cascade and how it significantly impacts an individual’s well-being.
Dr. Griffin is widely published and is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine.
